If I saw it at the store I might not have bought it but if you like this type of art, well worth the price. Worth the price but for me a bit odd as regards the art. I thought it would be 1,000 artists (a big job) but it was several from each artist instead.
A waste of money. It's impossible to see the details in the art. Also, this "new" book came with a torn page. The book has no text, only pictures. That would be fine except that the pictures are tiny.
after flipping threw the pages, i've become inspired by wonderful works of art in this book
Slightly oversized, yet each page contains quite a bit of "white space" to let the pages pop. Seemingly every journaling sytle is validated in this generous exploration of what others are doing in art journals. What an opportunity to flip through the artistic journals of so many creative people. If you want to actually read everything presented, you will need a magnifier. I will enjoy curling up with this book for a very long time. This book is all about the images. Not too much verbage, just pure inspiration.
It's not a bad book, but it's disappointing to not get what you want. This book just wasn't what I expected. May have been a little far fetched to think that the book would have been more scrap book like, but there was just something about the images displayed that gave me that vibe.
